It should stay put when you shake your head, but shouldn't leave red marks on your forehead. The "Temple" Test: Pay attention to pressure at the temples. If it's pinching there, you may need a Long Oval shape rather than a standard Round Oval. It Will Give: Remember, a quality hat will conform to your unique head shape over time as the sweatband softens. It's normal for it to feel slightly stiff at first. Customizable with Steam: For a truly bespoke fit, our hats can be gently steamed and shaped. This allows the felt to relax and mold perfectly to the contours of your head—ideal for easing minor pressure points or tweaking the brim curve to your liking.
