Handmade in León, Mexico, each pair is built in our family-run workshop using time-honored bootmaking methods passed down through generations. León—long known as Mexico’s shoe and leather capital—grew its reputation from colonial-era tanneries to today’s network of family ateliers around the Zona Piel (“Leather District”). That heritage shows up in every stitch.


How your boots are made

Hand-cut & skived: Patterns are cut from premium hides, then edges are thinned for clean, flat seams.

Hand-lasted: Uppers are pulled over wooden lasts for a glove-like instep and stable heel.

Goodyear welt construction: A stitched welt locks upper, insole, and outsole for durability and easy resoling.

Traditional pegging & nailing: Forefoot and shank secured with lemonwood pegs and brass nails—wood swells like leather to keep the hold tight.

Cork fill & shank support: Natural cork compresses to your footprint; a steel/fiberglass shank stabilizes the arch.

Stacked leather heel & finished edges: Heels are layered, shaped, burnished, and inked for a refined profile.
